You are purchasing one German-made 1/4"-24 thread insert kit for Harley-Davidson models dating back to the 1910's. 1/4"-24 was a unique thread pitch H-D used primarily on engines including tappet blocks, gear cover or cam covers, transmissions and various other places. This kit is made by Baer in Germany which is a subsidiary of Bosch. If you work on your own Harley you need these. I believe H-D may still use this thread pitch today.
