You are purchasing one New USA Reproduction big twin Knucklehead and UL steering damper rod for 1936-1940 big twin models. This is cad plated and is a perfect match for your worn out original. This is the style with the locating pin in the shaft. This is USA made and is cad plated as original. This has the impossible to find 1936-1940 rod and pin as well as the type one lower disc which is another very hard to find part. This unit is assembled in very small quantities at our shop in New Mexico.
Available with a parkerized or cadmium lower spider washer, just let us know what you want. The unit pictured is shown with a cadmium spider washer.
If you need a complete assembly for your 1936 with the correct lever, we have that also.
We also sell the shafts for VL and later big twins and currently have an NOS 1937-39 WL shaft.
This will work with either OEM or reproduction parts. You can also buy complete damper assemblies in our eBay store for VL and earlier knuckles as well as 45 and singles.
