Nice reproduction of WR five gallon Daytona fuel or gas tanks. Can be fit to any ’37 to ’52 W series Harley-Davidson frame. Has 2 x 3/8" NPT threaded inserts for fuel petcocks or plugs on both right and left sides. Fits standard W series frame mounts for fuel tanks. These are meant to be used with an under-seat oil tank as they do not have provision for a vent line to run back to the tank. They could be modified for this or you could externally vent your engine and you'd need to fabricate a stand-pipe fitting for your oil return.
Both sides are intended for gas, they use 2 vented Eaton style gas caps and requires the use of the 1937-1946 style shift gate. Order mount kit, gate, and related plugs and caps separately. All of these parts are available from us.
The welding is very nice on these, but with any fuel tank, you would want to seal these or leak test prior to use.
