You are purchasing one European-made reproduction three speed and reverse nickel shift guide or gate for 1931-1934 VL models.  Fits as a perfect replacement for your OEM shift gate.  Generally, nickel is found on earlier VL models so this would be correct for 1931 or 1932, please do your own research.  Personally, I love the warmer look of nickel.  We also sell this in chrome for later VL models as well as chrome and nickel shift gate nuts and chrome spring steel shift levers and linkage parts. We do sell the 1935-1936 style with the "bullet" or tip at the rear of the shift guide on another listing in our store, in addition to straight 3 speed and 1936 four speed guides and earlier JD guides in our store.

We do have nickel three speed shift guides for JD and early VL as well as chrome ones for VL and a four speed chrome 1936 shift guide.  We also carry the 3 speed and reverse for 1931-1934 models without the barrel or bullet welded on the end.
