You are purchasing one European-made reproduction of the 1931-1934 John Brown Motolamp electric head lamp or head light as used on DL, VL, RL, Servicar, and single models.  This is a really good quality headlamp with an original style diffusing lens with the same markings as original.  We do sell the lenses separately on another listing.  

Note the focus screw on back, it is non-functional as the headlamp utilizes a 6 volt modern-style pre-focused bulb with the following spec:
