You are purchasing one European-made reproduction shift lever for 1931-1936 model Harley-Davidson VL models.  Very nicely detailed, made from spring steel, and chrome plated.  Hole spacing from pivot to shift rod hole is 4 1/2".  We do sell the earlier style levers for VL and JD with the fixed shift ball and 4" hole spacing on another ad as well.
