You are purchasing a four speed transmission mounting kit used on 1936 to 1964 big twin Harleys but this is "detail-correct" for late 1942 to 1947 or 1948 as the bolt heads are CP-1035, with the exception of the bolt which goes through the frame to the transmission case.  Harley shifted production of common fasteners from their own screw shop in late 1942 to Chandler Products CP-1035 bolts.  Those were supplied through 1947 or 1948 when they were phased out in favor if CP-1038 bolts which were used into the 1960's.  Items like the transmission adjuster bolt were not farmed out.

Photo 2 shows the headbolt detail for the common fasteners included in this kit.  We do have a kit which is a mix of CP-1035 and CP-1038 and an earlier kit of all plain head hardware for 1936 through early 1942.

The Parkerizing is perfect on these.  Buy with confidence, we are antique Harley enthusiasts, not a 100,000 item catalog emporium for various brands of motorcycles and car parts that we have no clue how they are used on your bike.  

Used on the following:
  • 1936 to 1947 Knucklehead E, EL, F, FL, ELA, ELC OHV 61 & 74" (detail correct for late 1942-1947)
  • 1948 to 1957 Panhead EL, FL, FLH OHV 61 & 74” (Possible these were used on 1948 as this seems to have been a transition year on bolts)
  • 1937 to 1948 Flathead U, UL, UH, ULH, UA 74” & 80" (detail correct for late 1942-1947 or 1948)
