You are purchasing an excellent European reproduction of the speedometer needle for Stewart-Warner speedometers as used on Harley Davidson twin models in 1947 only. Paint is is a red/orange and the needle is metal NOT plastic! This needle would have been used on all models and matches the originals exactly in shape and form. The paint appears a bit more red than orange to me, you may want to re-paint to your liking if you don't think the color meets spec on a new needle.
I have no idea if these needles are compatible with reproduction speedos.
This may have been used on other S-W speedometer speedometer products. I'm not a speedometer expert so I cannot answer what other speedometer models this may have been used on.
