You are purchasing one head bolt hole tap for HarleyDavidson flathead VL, WL, UL, K-Model and possibly other models. 7/16"-16 tap which is non-standard thread. Used to clean out threads on cylinder head bolt holes. To the best of our knowledge, models which used cylinder studs were all 3/8" holes, this would be for flathead models using head bolts.
We offer thread repair kits, and additional taps and dies for the special threads that H-D used over the years. We have taps for cylinder heads, cam covers and lifters, main shafts, grease zerks, Linkert carbs and other uses.
Some of the following models would use this tool, use your own references to determine if you need this:
- 1930-1936 V, VL, VLC, VLD, VLH, etc. 74" & 80" side valve or flathead twins
- 1940-1952 WL WLA, WLC 45" solo flathead
- 1940-1973 Servicar G, GD, GDT, GE, 45"
- 1937-1948 U, UL, ULH, UH, etc. 74" & 80" big twin flathead
- 1952-1956 K, KK, KH, KHK, 45" & 55" flathead sport twin
