You are purchasing one new reproduction ignition switch as used on all 1968-1972 Harley-Davidson models including Electra-Glide FX Super-Glide and Servicar.  This is a five pin or pole switch.  I've been in this business for many years and would never sell the reproduction ignition switches because they were constructed like junk and they were an obvious re-pop at a casual glance.

This switch not only uses current production Briggs & Stratton keys and tumbler but it actually has the shape of the original switches, and the stamped and cast flip tops are finally shaped correctly as original.  There might be details an AMCA judge would pick apart at a very close glance so this might not be for you purists going for a 100 point restoration.

This will come with the earlier style top flip cover installed.  In order to change this out, just drill out the rivet then using a drift tap the pin in place for the cast cover.  We also sell the early and late five pin switches used from 1936-1967 in chrome and brass and a 1973-.

Sure it's made off shore, I'm willing to bet the switch on your late model H-D is too.  I wouldn't sell it if I didn't think it would hold up and didn't look like an original part.
