You are purchasing one reproduction push or right hand type handlebar spiral for throttle or spark control on 1949-1953 model stock production Harley-Davidson twin models including Panhead WL, Servicar (through 1957), and 1952 only K-Model. Also used on the left side for spark advance on all these bikes.
Please do double check your own reference material to make certain this is the spiral you need, the detail is very good on these. These are what are called the "right hand spirals" they are for a push style throttle would be the stock Linkert carburetors and are correct for the spark advance as well.
We do stock the "Left hand" or pull spirals which are listed in the parts catalogs are for left hand throttles favored on police bikes they can also be used as a "pull" spiral if you are running a CV or Mikuni style carburetor which uses a stranded cable rather than the piano wire for a custom set up or later stock set up and we have them on hand.
Please double check your parts book before ordering or send us an email if you are unsure if your carburetor will require a push or pull throttle spiral. OEM number for the push or left hand type is 56220-47, which we sell on another listing. These spirals only work with bars which are slotted all the way to the ends. They will not work on 1948 and earlier twin cylinder model bars nor on 1954 and later bars.
