You are purchasing one pair of USA Made reproduction handlebar end nuts for 1954 to 1974 Harley-Davidson twin and single models, replaces OEM# 56288-53. These are parkerized as original and are a 3/4-16 thread pitch and are used to retain the spirals on the handlebars. We also carry the earlier style end nuts as well as the plungers, pins, collars, control coils, and other handlebar internals. We sell these with the internal springs used from 1954 to 1974. We do sell these individually for those of you who only have a throttle side to plug.
Used on the throttle and spark advance sides up through the mid 1960's on twin models, then throttle side only on models with auto-advance.
Please double-check your own parts listing to make certain this is what you need. If you are running bars with internally-routed push-pull spark and or throttle cables, with 3/4" diameter threaded ends, this is what you need.
