You are purchasing one new reproduction chrome headlamp original OEM part number 67701-49 with "Guide Made In USA" in the original style block lettering around the wire harness hole and a 6 volt Guide Cycle Beam sealed beam. Harness is cloth wrapped insulated wire with period correct flag and ring terminals. If you have looked at the cost of re-chroming parts lately, this may well be a preferable alternative for your budget.
This is equipped standard with a 6 volt Guide Cycle Beam sealed beam. I can quote you a price on a 12 volt Guide Cycle Beam sealed beam if you would like one to install in the headlamp when you receive it.
Used from 1949 to 1959 on Panhead and Servicar models equipped with Hydra-Glide forks.
- 1949-1959 Panhead 61" & 74" OHV Hydra-Glide and Duo-Glide twin
- 1958 & 1959 Servicar 45" twin, G model.
These are really nice reproductions, licensed by GM’s Guide lighting division. Keep in mind there are probably little detail items a judge may pick apart if you are having your bike AMCA judged. As well, you may find minor flaws here and there which are common to modern chrome plating techniques versus what was available 20 or even 50 years ago. If you need OEM perfection, I suggest you spend the $750 to $1000 necessary to get that. I do personally inspect each unit but that's not to say there might not be a minor flaw here and there I may have missed.
These are only available in chrome or black finish.
