You are purchasing a USA Made cadmium plated reproduction of the #700 oil pump body plug on '68-'84 Shovelhead oil pumps.

Also used as a lower crankcase plug on 1936-1970 OHV Knucklehead, Panhead, and Shovelhead, 1937-73 45" flathead solo and Servicar, and 1937-1948 big twin flathead.

This has 3/8"-24 NF threads and a 1/2" hex head.  Finish is cadmium, we also stock this in parkerized and stock the earlier version of the 453-11 plug with a screwdriver slot machined into it on another listing.

These are machined exactly the way H-D made them in their own screw shop back in the day.  We are continually adding to our VL, RL, and JD parts offerings including hard to find hardware like this stud kit as well as bolts, screws, clips, and wiring products.

There seems to be some misinformation on CP bolts and "reproductions".  Chandler Products has always been willing to produce these bolts with large minimum quantity orders. There's either early production or current production. They changed head dies as they wore out and had multiple dies.  All nuts are USA made using the same process Harley used when they operated their own screw and nut equipment with the flat lands on them.  Spacers and washers are produced just like the ones H-D did back in the day.  Parkerizing is same finish as how these came from the factory in the 1950's.  I've also got other hardware kits listed in my store under "pre 1980's hardware" including all sorts of pre-sorted kits containing CP-1035 and CP-1038 bolts and other unique vintage H-D fasteners to meet your restoration needs.
