You are purchasing one NOS OEM shift gate or guide for Harley-Davidson WLA WLC and WL models. The finish is original OD green with some rust as shown. This shift guide came out later in the war years. I believe somewhere around mid to late 1943. Please check your own reference material to be sure. The distinction of this being a later guide is the curled or bent down trailing edge which was done to protect the riders leg if they fell on the left side of the bike. This will fit any three speed 45 model from 1940 through 1946, I do believe.
