You are purchasing one NOS OEM wire harness kit for 1942 Harley-Davidson military WLA models from 1942-1945 production. This can also be used without modification on Servicar models. It can be used, with some modification, on military Knucklehead and UL models as well as civilian model big twin or 45's. Overall condition is excellent, wires are pliable and not dried out, though some wires are faded.
This headlamp/horn harness, switch to generator harness, and switch to battery/coil harness could be used with no modification on 1947 model civilian WL's.
Includes the following NOS wires and harness sub-assemblies:
-Five primary harness groupings: Switch to fork (three wire horn, headlamp, b/o lamp), switch to coil/battery (includes oil pressure wire), switch to generator and relay, stop lamp switch, tail lamp black out wires
-Handlebars: dimmer switch base with wires soldered in (you only need to supply your own switch housing and flipper switch assembly) horn wire with plastic base, you supply your own housing, button, and button contact.
-Loose wires: Battery positive, negative, relay to generator, generator condenser to generator post, front fender lamp, dash base wires (two with one #6 terminal are NOS, the one with two #6 terminals attached is reproduction but this is an under dash wire and does not show;
-Radio suppression equipment: coil to frame and motor bonding strap, spark coil condensor (NOS in parts bag), shielded coil to timer wire. I do believe the condenser used on the generator for noise suppression was the same as the timer condenser. Reproductions of those are pretty readily available, that is not included with this kit.
This does NOT include any of the black out relay switch wiring nor the wire from the black out fork lamp to the fork terminal board.
