You are purchasing one NOS OEM "Cat Eye" dash base assembly for 1939-1946 model Harley-Davidson military WLA models. This can also be used without modification on Servicar models. It can be used, with some modification, on military Knucklehead and UL models as well as civilian model big twin or 45's. The base is completely pre-wired with wires secured to the dash and the ignition/lighting switch. This is the non-keyed late WWII design black-out switch used from 1944 through the end of the war. Includes signal and speedometer lamp bulbs, also NOS and the original box we received this in. Overall condition is excellent, wires are pliable and not dried out.
This headlamp/horn harness, switch to generator harness, and switch to battery/coil harness could be used with no modification on 1947 model civilian WL's.
Technically, the flag terminals are 1946-1947 style, but we have seen this type of flag terminal used as late as 1958 and used quite a bit on earlier K-models. This was a parts-order replacement manufactured in the 1950's.
We will include an NOS radio-suppression coil to timer wire as well as our accurate reproduction battery positive, generator to relay, and battery negative wires with this kit to help you finish out your project. (not shown). We will also include comprehensive wiring instructions.
