You are purchasing one NOS OEM generator to instrument panel lamp socket and wiring for 1947-1967 Harley-Davidson, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, UL and WL models. 1947 was the only year this wire was used with all models that had two and three brush generators. This was used exclusively with two brush generators from 1948-1967 on police and civilian bikes. The dual stud #8 & #10 flag terminal is 1958 to late 1960's, so technically, this is "correct" for 1958-1967 but the terminal is also an under dash item which does not show.
The socket is a long-discontinued Cole-Hersee product and will require you to roll the edge over your hole on the instrument panel to secure it to your dash, we are not sure the best way to do this. This can be used for 6 or 12 volt systems.

We do sell complete wiring kits for your 1947 with pre-wired switches as well as a 1947-only Servicar kit and we make a "premium" version of those kits with correct open barrel type flag terminals and we sell an economy kit if those details are not as critical to you.
