You are buying a quantity of five (5) CP-1035 3/8"-24 NF x 3/4" x 9/16" hex bolts.  Harley-Davidson OEM #074 (early) 4289 late.  For certain these were used as a muffler clamp bolt on 45" solo and Servicar models and I've seen this part number in big twin catalogs but I am uncertain of its application on big twin models.

Please consult your own parts or service manual for proper reference.  These would be considered correct from late 1942 or early 1943 when CP-1035 were fully phased in.  We do offer this in a plain head bolt for 1936-1942 models.

There seems to be some misinformation on CP bolts and "reproductions".  Chandler Products has always been willing to produce these bolts with large minimum quantity orders. There's either early production or current production. They changed head dies as they wore out and had multiple dies.  Nuts are USA made using the same process Harley used when they operated their own screw and nut equipment with the flat lands on them.  Spacers and washers are produced just like the ones H-D did back in the day.  Parkerizing and cad plating is same finish as how these came from the factory in the 1950's.  I've also got quite a bit of other hardware kits listed in my store under "pre 1980's hardware".

All USA made parts.

Used on the following:
  • 1936-1947 E, EL, ELA, F, FL 61” & 74” OHV Knucklehead (Considered “correct” for 1942 or 1943 to 1947 or 1948)
  • 1937-1948 U, UL, UH, ULH, UA 74” & 80” BT SV Flathead (Considered “correct” for 1942 or 1943 to 1947 or 1948)
  • 1948-1957 EL, FL, FLH 61” & 74” OHV Panhead & Hydra-Glide
You get the following in this kit:
  • 5 ea. 4289 (old# 074), Bolts, 3/8”-24 x 3/4" x 9/16” stamped CP-1035

PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
