You are purchasing one USA made pull wire stud and brake lock kit as used on all 1937 to early 1940 model Harley-Davidson twin models. It is used as a rear brake shaft lock on W and WL models and is used on the front rear brake rod on big twin Knucklehead and UL to secure the brake switch pull wire and help actuate it when the rear brake pedal is depressed.
It can certainly be used on later rigid frame big twins and 45” models, but it would be considered “detail correct” for 1937 to early 1940 only. We do sell the late 1940-1957 pull wire stud/brake lock on another listing in our store.

- 2958-35 Pull wire stud & Brake lock which includes the body, stud, and wing nut. All parts are parkerized.

- 1937 to 1940 U, UL, ULH, UH 74” & 80” Flathead
- 1937 to 1940 W, WL, WLD 45” solo
Please study the photos, the plating is excellent on these as well as the attention to detail and craftsmanship. This is a very well engineered kit.
