You are purchasing one USA made reproduction rubber tank buffer for 1936 to 1947 Knucklehead and UL split fat bob fuel tanks.   We also sell the 1936-1938 and 1939-1984 tank filler strips as well as rubber tank buffers for JD, VL, Knucklehead, and WL models.

This is to be split on the bottom and placed over the top tube of the frame prior to putting the tanks on.  These were used to prevent contact by the tanks and frame.  The notches are for the backbone wire harness and oil pressure wire ('38 and up on the OP wire).  These do not come pre-split.  You will have to cut them yourself.
