You are buying a big twin rear fender mounting kit which is detail-correct for 1941 to 1943 rigid frame Harleys, includes Knucklehead, and UL models. Includes all pieces shown. Please consult your own parts or service manual for proper reference.  As the bolt heads are plain head machined, and the rear hinged section bolts are truss head carriage bolts rather than machined flat and the hex bolts are not cold-headed CP Chandler Products bolts, this kit is correct for your 1941 to 1942 or early 1943 Knucklehead or UL.  These bolts are machined identical to the process H-D used in their screw shop back in the 1930’s and 1940’s.

The point at which the change over to CP bolts happened is subject to debate, but it is known that H-D turned over the production of their common fasteners to other vendors during WWII and bolts were made by Chandler products.

We do have the same fastener kit available with the rear fender frame clamps on another listing in our store as well as a 1936-1940 version and a 1942-1948 version with all CP-1035 hex bolts, and yet another kit with CP-1038 bolts for 1949-1957 Panheads.

All USA made parts.

Take your chances from someone who has 100,000+ listings of items they don’t understand or buy with confidence from someone who has owned and restored classic Knuckleheads, Panheads, BT Flatheads, and 45 civilian and military models and will stand behind the products they sell with a no hassle return policy.

PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
