You are purchasing one reproduction rectangular tool box with keys and a mounting hardware kit for 1936 through 1939 big twin Harley-Davidson twin solo models Knucklehead and UL.  This is very good quality, made of the same gauge steel as original, spot welds are done nicely.  This does not have a hinge brace to hold it open.  Later OEM replacements did not either. 

We sell a bare tool box with hardware kit on another listing so you can paint or finish it to your liking.

Used on the following:
  • 1936-1939 E, EL, ELS 61” OHV Knucklehead
  • 1937-1939 U, UL, UH, ULH, UA 74” & 80” flat head or side valve
Please be sure to visit our eBay store for more hard to find hardware kits and individual bolts, screws, wiring harnesses, cable clips, USA-made cloth covered throttle and spark coils, clutch cables, brake cables, exhaust clamps & hardware, Guide lighting products, etc. 

This does not fit VL, RL, or WL models without modification.  In order to use this with RL, WL, and VL models, you will need to modify one of the upper corners of the box to make it fit that style frame and move the mount holes.
