You are buying a big twin rear fender mounting kit including the 59800-36 (early# 3747-36) rear fender frame brackets for 1936 to 1940 rigid frame Harleys, includes Knucklehead and UL models. Includes all pieces shown. Please consult your own parts or service manual for proper reference.
This kit includes all plain head machine cut parkerized bolts including the correct 1 1/32" long 5/16"-24 bolts with 9/16" heads and flat head rear flap bolts which were used from 1923-1940. From 1941 and up is when the round head carriage bolts first appeared, they don't belong on your 1936-40 model H-D!
This kit includes the 1 1/8” deep rear mount straps used from 1936 through 1954. We also sell rear fender mount kits for 1941 & 1942, CP-1035 bolt kits for 1943-1948, 1948-1957 rigid models as well as later swing arm models to 1981.
The brackets are restoration quality with the correct bends and off-sets to the saddle mounts.
