You are buying a big twin rear fender mounting kit including the 59800-36 (early# 3747-36) rear fender frame brackets for 1941 to 1942 or early 1943 rigid frame Harleys, includes Knucklehead, and UL models. Includes all pieces shown. Please consult your own parts or service manual for proper reference.

This kit includes all plain head machine cut parkerized bolts as used from 1936 to late 1942 or 1943 as H-D was phasing in CP-1035 bolts for the war effort from Chandler products.  The difference in this kit and our 1936-1940 kit is this utilizes round head carriage bolts which came into use in 1941.  Prior to this, H-D used a flat head bolt on the rear fender tail piece.

Unlike other kits available on eBay, these do use the correct 5/16"-24 x 1 1/32" bolt with the 9/16" hex head to secure the fender mount straps.

This kit includes the 1 1/8” deep rear mount straps used from 1936 through 1954.  If you are building a ’55 to ’57, the straight leg Panhead frame used the 1 1/4” deep straps or brackets which we have on another listing just like this and just by themselves.  Some custom frames also use the deeper brackets.

The brackets are restoration quality with the correct bends and off-sets to the saddle mounts.
