You are purchasing on pair of USA Made rear axle or rear chain adjusters which replace Harley-Davidson OEM# 41576-36 on 1936 to 1972 Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, and UL models.  As they are parkerized, they would be “detail correct” for roughly 1942 through 1947.  Thread pitch is 3/8”-24 and these include two #7789 3/8’-24 x 1/4” x 9/16” hex nuts.  Overall length is 3 3/8” tip to rear of threaded surface is 3”, these are turned from 7/16” hex stock exactly like the originals.  

Fits the following:
  • 1936-1947 61” & 74” OHV Knucklehead E, EL, ELA, ELC, F, FL
  • 1937-1948 74” & 80” sidevalve or flathead U, UL, UH, ULH, ULA, UA
  • 1948-1965 61” & 74” OHV Panhead EL, FL, FLH Hydra-Glide, Duo-Glide, Electra-Glide
  • 1966-1972 74” FL & FLH Shovelhead Electra-Glide
  • 1971-1972 74” FX Shovelhead Super-Glide or Night Train
You get the following:
  • Two ea. Parkerized machine cut plain head adjusters, Harley OEM# 2827-36; 
  • Two ea. 3/8”-24 x 1/4” x 9/16” hex nut, Harley OEM# 0129; 
These are machined exactly the way H-D made them in their own screw shop from the 1930’s to the 1970’s.

There seems to be some misinformation on CP bolts and "reproductions".  Chandler Products has always been willing to produce these bolts with large minimum quantity orders. There's either early production or current production. They changed head dies as they wore out and had multiple dies.  All nuts are USA made using the same process Harley used when they operated their own screw and nut equipment with the flat lands on them.  Spacers and washers are produced just like the ones H-D did back in the day.  Parkerizing is same finish as how these came from the factory in the 1950's.  I've also got other hardware kits listed in my store under "pre 1980's hardware" including all sorts of pre-sorted kits containing CP-1035 and CP-1038 bolts and other unique vintage H-D fasteners to meet your restoration needs.
