You are buying a big twin rear fender mounting kit including the 59800-36 (early# 3747-36) rear fender frame brackets for 1936 to 1954 rigid frame Harleys, includes Knucklehead, Panhead, and UL models. Includes all pieces shown. Please consult your own parts or service manual for proper reference.
All hex head bolts in this have cold stamped CP-1035 head which makes this detail-correct for rougly late 1942 to 1947 or 1948 though it's entirely possible you would see a mix of CP-1035 and CP-1038 bolts into the early 1950's though common wisdom or urban legend says 5/16" bolts from 1949 forward were CP-1038.
This kit includes the 1 1/8” deep rear mount straps used from 1936 through 1954. If you are building a ’55 to ’57, the straight leg Panhead frame used the 1 1/4” deep straps or brackets which we have on another listing just like this and just by themselves. Some custom frames also use the deeper brackets.
The brackets are restoration quality with the correct bends and off-sets to the saddle mounts.
