You are purchasing a reproduction "Gentleman's Choke" kit for 1939-1965 Harley-Davidson models using Linkert M-Series carburetors. This was used on 1947 and up models utilizing the center screw and stud alignment on the two light dash and can be used all the way up to the 1965 Panhead Electra-Glide.  

This can also be used on 1939-1946 models with a cat eye dash but does require drilling holes in the dash and dash base and there are mounting templates included in the kit for earlier installations.  The kit contains all necessary parts for either style dash installation as well as point-by-point directions on how to install it on either style dash.  

You may be able to install with other brands of carbs or on K-models using a fork mount plate of your own design with some modification but I have no idea what all carbs it may or may not work with.  I can only vouch for this working on OHV, big twin side valve, and 45 solo and Servicar models equipped with Linkert M-Series carbs.  

Cable is 24 inches long to work with 45 models and will need to be trimmed down for OHV or BTSV models which is no major deal.
