You are purchasing one reproduction black enamel three brush generator end cover used on all 1932 to 1957 twins including 45", Knucklehead, Panhead, K-Model, Sportster, and Servicar. I believe 1932 to 1934 singles, but please check your own material to be certain. This is an excellent reproduction, stamping is identical to the original I would call the finish a medium gloss finish.
Black was the standard offering from the factory, though you could get chrome end covers in some equipment groups. We do stock a chrome 32E end cover as well as a stainless one if that is your preference or you own a 1949 twin where that would have been standard.
