Really nice new European made reproduction front axle kit for rigid frame big twins from 1936 to 1948 and Servicar models from 1941 to 1957. The detail on this is excellent including the axle and brake plate spacers, & the machined land on the end nut. This is as close as you will find to an OEM NOS one. This kit includes all parts shown which are:
- 43872-36 Axle
- 43882-36 Spacer
- 6591 washer
- 7923 Axle end nut
- 43886-30 Nut
- 534 Cotter key
Of course H-D used different finishes and had minute detail changes especially from ’36 to ’57 so as far as 100% “correct” for your year/model, I’m not certain. All I can tell you is this does fit the following:
- 1936 to 1947 Knucklehead, E, EL, F, FL
- 1937 to 1948 big twin flathead, U, UL, ULH, UH, UA
- 1948 Panhead EL, FL & 1949 sidecar-equipped Panhead with springer front end
- 1941 to 1957 Servicar with spring fork
This is for big twin style forks with the big twin style rockers.
Please study the photos, the parkerizing is excellent on these as well as the attention to detail and craftsmanship. This is a very well engineered kit.
