You are purchasing a reproduction transmission adjusting bolt or screw used on all 1925 to 1936 JD and VL big twin Harleys.  This is utilized with the special adjuster bolt.  Replaces OEM part# 2328-25.  Finish is Parkerized, we can get this in cadmium if required.  

I have seen several configurations of this bolt suggesting H-D may have made changes to this over the years without revising the part number.  For easy identification, this has a 9/16" hex head, threading is 3/8"-16 NC, threaded area is 2 3/4" long and overall length is 3 7/8"
