You are purchasing one new reproduction headlamp mount with low gloss finish, very accurate reproduction. Replaces OEM part number 67810-36. This would be the “type 2” bracket as it has four terminal holes for electrical connections. We do have the “type 3” bracket on another listing in our store.
This particular type would be accurate for 1947 to 1950 models according to “How To Restore Your Harley-Davidson” by Bruce Palmer III.
Used to mount your Cycle-Ray headlamp on 1946 to 1957 model big twin, 45, and Servicar models with the hydraulic shock type ride control.
I do have this available on another listing with the lower horn mount for 46-57 as well.
These are really nice reproductions. Keep in mind there are probably little detail items a judge may pick apart if you are having your bike AMCA judged.
