You are purchasing one new pair of reproduction Guide marker lamps, replaces H-D OEM part number 68553-58. These are listed as marker lamps and have the nice reproduction RED Guide DH-49 fish eye lenses. These are the housings which do not have the side mounting brackets. I’ve also seen this style used on the front fork and rear with clear lenses. If you need these with clear lenses, there is a listing for this kit with clear lenses in my eBay store. The top of the lamps carry the correct markings:

This comes with a stainless steel mounting bracket which can attach to a tag bracket or you can affix it under your seat by mounting it to the flat plate at the back of the seat tee which will require drilling holes in the seat plate and you will need to use spacers to space it over the bar. I’ve experimented with tag bracket mounting and it’s really quite simple. Bracket is 9 3/4” wide overall. Please see second photo for location of the mounting slots.
For those needing the 1950 to 1957 style with the PH-7 side brackets, OEM 68566-50, I have those available on other listings with either red or clear lenses. Please see my other listings for other Guide licensed reproduction lighting items, I have quite a few.
These are really nice reproductions, licensed by GM’s Guide lighting division. I suppose there may be a minor detail here or there a judge might pick out if you are a purist and are going for a Winner’s Circle restoration. Otherwise, if you want a really good reproduction at a fraction of the price of NOS or OEM, these ware perfect for you.
That said, if you want a retro touch, or are restoring on a budget until you can find that perfect set of originals, these will fit the bill. The bulbs alone give a very nice nostalgic or retro touch if that’s the look you are going for on your modern day Harley. Keep in mind these are 6V so if you intend to use these on a 12V system you will need to find the correct single filament bulbs.
I can also provide these with correctly marked DH-49 frosted or amber lenses for the same price if you prefer, just email us and let us know that’s what you need.
