You are purchasing a handlebar spiral kit for custom bars from Flanders, Hellings & Stellings, Comiskey, Superior, etc. period aftermarket bars used on spring fork and Hydra-Glide front end Harley-Davidson models from 1930 or so until well into the 1970's.  Works with any 1" bars using the standard 1936-1948 style push/pull plugs for internal throttle and spark control.  Comes as shown.  Not obvious in the photo are the handlebar end plugs inside the grips.  Overall spirals are   " long.  Grips will come un-cut so you can cut them to your liking.  Spirals are 4 3/8" overall length.

You can cut stock bars down and re-tap them if you are so inclined though with current prices of OEM springer bars, I think I'd go with reproduction or period aftermarket bars. 

You get the following:  
  • One shortened push spiral
  • One shortened pull spiral
  • Two handlebar end plugs
  • Two full size grips to be cut down
One spiral is a push spiral, the other is a pull so you are set if you are planning to use a piano wire carb like a Linkert or a stranded cable carb like an S & S or Mikuni. If you go with a pull throttle, your timer will operate as usual. If you go with a push spiral, your timer spiral will work in reverse which is no issue, just remember which way is advance.
