Harley Eaton Style Gas Caps Parkerized WLA WLC ELC WPA WWII Bobber Rat Rod

One pair of parkerized reproduction Eaton-style gas caps with long knurls (1939 to 1964 style) Harley Davidson twin models with split fat bob tanks (does not include Sporster or K-Model).  As I mentioned, these are parkerized for a cool custom touch on a rat rod or bobber, or much easier to paint if you are doing a WWII era restoration, whether it's military or civilian.  Civilian models manufactured from roughly mid-late 1942 to early 1946 had gloss black caps.  Can be used on big twin or 45” models (Left or gas cap only on 45 models).  These do NOT have the Eaton hallmark under the bung like the chrome ones I sell.  Please double check your tanks prior to ordering, many aftermarket tank sets use the 1965 and up style bungs with different bayonet depths from the right to left.  From 1936 to 1964, original H-D big twin tanks used the same cap on the right and left as illustrated in the last photo above.

We do offer 1965 to 1972 style caps as well as 1972 and up in our store under separate listings.

These are vented.

A note on shipping:.

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing.  We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers.  Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.

We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
