You are purchasing a pair of USA-made cork fuel or gas cap gaskets or washers for 1936-1947 twin models with split tanks with two vented caps.  These fit “bayonet” style stock and aftermarket gas caps.  I also have leather 1936-1947 gaskets for vented caps, 1948 to 1964 vented rubber gasket set and 1965-1982 vented/non-vented cap gasket pairs on another listing.  H-D introduced a rubber gas cap gasket in 1948 and we do sell those on another listing.  These are perfect for the purists amongst us and for those of you who don't trust the seal of rubber with today's fuels.  We also have a couple of listings with Eaton caps and these gaskets.

We sell reproduction Eaton caps in the short knurl 1936-1940 style, 1941-1953, 1954-1964, etc.  We also sell them in OD green, nickel for 1936-1941 models, brass, black enamel, and parkerized.  We also sell fuel rods, cad plated fuel lines, tank divider strips, and tank emblems and hardware.

Cork gaskets might not be right for you if your tank bungs or cap bayonettes are getting worn, you might want to select our leather gaskets or later 1970's style which will help give you a better seal if you have wear issues with your originals.
