Really nice new reproduction rear brake mounting bracket or plate replaces OEM Part# 42480-36 for rigid frame big twins from 1936 to 1938.  This is the style used 1936 to 1938 on Knucklehead and UL models with the stud which attaches with a nut.  Later models used a peened on stud.  You also get the nut #7831, split lock washer #7055, and flat washer #6520.  Much better than buying a bent up used one with chipped chrome and a worn out, wobbly stud.  The detail on this is excellent.  This is as close as you will find to an OEM NOS one.  Of course H-D used different finishes and had minute detail changes especially from ’36 to ’39 so as far as 100% “correct” for your year/model, I’m not certain.  All I can tell you is this does fit the following:

1936 to 1938 Knucklehead, E, EL
1937 & 1938 big twin flathead, U, UL, ULH, UH, UA

Of course you can use this all the way up through 1957 on your rigid frame big twin, however, it is not the “correct” style.  If you have a 1939 to 1957 model, you need the plate with the peened on stud.  I do have that on another listing.

Please study the photos, the parkerizing is excellent on these as well as the attention to detail and craftsmanship.  This is a very durable bracket constructed in every detail to look and perform like the original.  I've also got the pedal available with the mounting plate, nut, & washers in another listing and I've got the pedal by itself.  Please see my store for many other vintage Harley items.

This does NOT include any mounting hardware.

PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing.  We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers.  Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.
We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
