You are purchasing one reproduction European made battery box for early Harley-Davidson motorcycles. This is fabricated from sheet steel and is coated in grey primer. These are usually one of the harder to find items in serviceable shape as they are usually pretty beat or rusted out if you do find them. I cannot ascertain the exact years from my parts catalogs, but the manufacturer claims this fits 1918-1921 and 1924 models. Please do your own research to make sure this is what you need for your particular bike.
