You are purchasing one Delco-Remy licensed reproduction black enamel 6 volt voltage regulator cover used on 125 & 165 cc lightweight "Hummer", Panhead, K-Model, & Sportster, with two and three brush generators from 1947 to 1964. This fits the 74510-47A regulator and 74510-59 regulator. This may also go on some GM model voltage regulators but I do not have a cross-chart to see which ones. As well, this would not work on the very early voltage regulator introduced on the 125 in 1948 and used through 1954 with the clip type cover. It looks like from the part number that the screw style cover was introduced on H-D models in 1955. This is an excellent reproduction, stamping is identical to the original I would call the finish a satin or low gloss finish.
Black was the standard offering from the factory.
