You are purchasing one new USA Made wiring harness kit for 1948 twin model big twin Harley-Davidsons, 1948-1952 WL, and 1948-1957 Servicar (does not include correct tail lamp wires for the Servicar) which includes a pre-wired dimmer switch and single wire horn button.  This will take the soldering work out of installing your new harness if you are not confident in your soldering skills in re-wiring your switches.  This harness is correct for use with the new seat post terminal box introduced in 1948 and spring forks.

We also sell the harness by itself, the dimmer and horn switches, as well as complete wiring clip kits to finish out your installation.  We will be adding kits complete with the clips in the near future.  If you don't see them, just ask. 

Includes everything you need to wire up your H-D from nose to tail.

We are now carrying wiring harnesses for most USA produced H-D models from 1926-1969.

Used on the following 1948 models:
  • 1948 EL & FL Panhead 61" & 74" OHV (also correct for 1949 with spring fork on sidecar and package truck models)
  • 1948 UL, ULH 74" & 80" big twin flathead
  • 1948-1952 WL, WLD 45" solo flathead (used through 1952)
  • 1948-1957 G 45" Servicar (does not include Servicar-specific tail lamp wires, we do have those available in our store (used through 1957)
