You are buying a big twin rear fender mounting kit for 1936 to 1957 rigid frame Harleys, includes Knucklehead, Panhead, and UL models. Includes all pieces shown. Please consult your own parts or service manual for proper reference. The 4004 5/16" bolts are cold stamped CP-1038 bolts and the 7/16" fender clip bolts are stamped CP-1035. To my knowledge those were never stamped CP-1038, they were either plain head or CP-1035. We can change out those bolts to plain head if you believe that would be more correct for 1948 forward.
As this uses CP-1038 and CP-1035 bolts, this kit is considered correct for rougly 1948 to 1957. We do have a plain head kits for 1936 to 1940 and 1941 to 1942 an CP-1035 1942 to 1948 big twins on another listing and offer this kit with the rear fender mount straps for either ’36 to ’54 or ’55 to ’57.

A note on shipping:
Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates. Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction. In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc. I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices. If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges. It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy. I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating. That’s the only way I can solve a problem. I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!
We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings. If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping. We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items. Thank you!
