You are buying a USA Made 45" solo twin rear fender mounting kit for Harley-Davidson 45" WLA and WLC WWII solo models which is detail-correct for WWII era and slightly later 45" solo civilian twins using the 2818-26 luggage rack. Hardware detail should be correct for roughly 1942 to 1948 models, though I’m aware all of this hardware can be used up to 1952 on 45 solo models using the luggage rack. Includes all pieces shown. Please consult your own parts or service manual for proper reference.
This is detail correct for late 1942 or early 1943 military contract WLA, WLC, and civilian WL models as the 5/16" bolts are CP-1035.
Chandler Products CP-1035 bolts first appear in 1942 or early 1943 and could be found on Harleys to 1949. CP-1038 seems to have first appeared in 1947 or 1948 so a mix of bolt heads on common hardware would be expected in the late 1940's.
We do carry plain head, CP-1035, and CP-1038 fender kits without the luggage carrier studs in our store if you are not using a luggage carrier.
