Reproduction battery rod hold down kit for 1936 to 1957 rigid frame big twin Harley-Davidson.  Very accurate in detail, flags are accurately made and welded, parkerizing is excellent on these, it's an excellent OEM replacement and a whole lot cheaper than paying for an NOS set if you could even find one.

This set is “detail” correct for 1936 to early 1950 model Knucklehead, UL, and Panhead models as the wing nuts are cad plated.  From mid to late 1950 through 1964, Harley used a zinc or pot metal dimpled wing nut.  We do offer a flag kit specifically for 1950-1957 models with the correct dimpled zinc wing nuts.  This does include two (2) battery pads.

We offer a generic 1936-1957 kit with parkerized wing nuts as well.

We also sell the cad plated and zinc dimpled wing nuts by themselves as well as battery pads on another listing.

Fits the following models:
  • 1936-1947 Knucklehead E, EL, ELA, F, FL 61" & 74" OHV
  • 1937-1948 Sidevalve Big Twin U, UA, UL, UH, ULH 74" & 80" Flathead
  • 1948-1957 Panhead EL, FL, FLH, FLHF 61" & 74" OHV (detail correct through early 1950)
Kit contains the following parts:
  • 4411-36 right side tie rod
  • 4412-36 left side tie rod
  • 4409-26 cad plated wing nuts (two each)
  • 4427-15 pads (two each)
