You are purchasing a chrome-plated reproduction of the handlebar cross bar as issued by HD around 1926.    The bar measures 20" end to end plus the inch or so you gain from the clamp on each side.  HD issued these to mount accessories like spot lamps, note pads, speakers for police radios and the latest I've seen them used for is on Shovelheads to mount accessory oil pressure or ammeter gauges.  Can be adapted to any bike.  I have no reason to believe you could not find a way to use this on EVO and later models.

Last photo is only to show how these were used on later model bikes.  You are getting the bar and clamp kit---NO GAUGES!

The steel is formed just like the originals, they used a thin wall tube and crimped it around the circumference to add strength.  Total weight is around 2 pounds.
