You are purchasing one new USA Made wiring harness kit for 1949-1954 Harley-Davidson Panhead Hydra-Glide which includes a pre-wired dimmer switch and single wire horn button. This will take the soldering work out of installing your new harness if you are not confident in your soldering skills in re-wiring your switches. This harness is correct for use with the new seat post terminal box introduced in 1948 and the terminal plate under the tin on the Hydra-Glide front end. We do sell a wiring kit for you 1948 Panhead owners which is all the correct wires for the spring forks which you would also use if you have one of the rare 1949 springer Panheads. This is everything you need from nose to tail to wire your bike.
If you are re-wiring your tail lamp, you will need to solder two copper ends and that's it. If that's not to your liking, we offer a tail lamp wire kit with the bakelite terminal plate and with the copper terminals already soldered on, just let us know if you want to add that to your order or if you want to add wiring clips.
We also sell the harness by itself, the dimmer and horn switches, as well as complete wiring clip kits to finish out your installation. We will be adding kits complete with the clips in the near future. If you don't see them, just ask.
Includes everything you need to wire up your H-D from nose to tail. As this has a single wire horn button, this is for 1949-1954 only, this grounds the horn to the handlebars. 1955 and up requires a two wire horn button to properly ground the horn when you push the button.
