You are purchasing one new USA Made shielded cable for 1952-1957 Harley-Davidson police models including Servicar and Panhead. This is patterned off an NOS sample and has the correct single traced 16 gauge green wire, triple-traced 12 gauge red wire, correct nickel plated copper shielding, and period correct open-barrel AMP terminals, correct white and black vinylite on the terminals as well as the fuse holder and fuse. This is made in our shop in New Mexico by hand, with care. The terminals on this kit are correct for 1955-1957 as they are open barrel. If you are working on a 1952-1954 model, let us know as we do have the correct terminals and crimper used from 1948-1954.
The parts catalogs we have do not show a fuse clip in the photos. This does have the 1/4" stud clips at either end of the shielding to ground back to the bike. To the best of our knowledge the difference between 70170-52 and 70170-52A is the addition of the clip. We are working on a solution for this piece and will notify buyers of this harness when they are available. Later big twin parts catalogs show this cable was used through 1964 though there is a 70170-58 cable. Please do your research before purchasing to make sure this is what you need.
