Harley 4149-41 Knucklehead UL WL WLD Cast Aluminum Front Brake Lever 1941-48

You are purchasing a very nice new USA made reproduction aluminum front brake lever assembly replaces OEM Part# 4149-41 for various Harley twins both civilian and military, from 1941 to 1948.  Hardware is cad plated, mounting strap is parkerized.

We also sell the parkerized cast iron front brake lever used during WWII on another listing.  Aluminum would have been available until early-mid 1942 and again likely after 1945.

This is much better than buying a bent up, beat up used one with that’s been chromed and has egged out holes.

The detail on this is excellent. This is as close as you will find to an OEM NOS one at this price.  Of course H-D used different finishes and had minute detail changes especially from ’41 to ’48 so as far as 100% “correct” for your year/model, I’m not certain.  I can tell you this will fit 1941 and up twin models with cable pull type front brakes, as far as what models it would be correct for, these are what I know of:
  • 1941 to 1948 EL & FL Knucklehead
  • 1941 to 1951 WL 45" solo models
  • 1941 to 1948 U, UL, ULH 74" & 80" flathead or sidevalve
  • 1941 to 1951 G Servicar

No need to email or call first to check stock.  We aren’t a drop-ship operation, these are on the shelf and ready to ship.  Buy with confidence, if you are unhappy with your purchase, we offer a no-hassle return policy.

Please study the photos, the parkerizing is excellent on these as well as the attention to detail and craftsmanship.  This is a very nice piece.  Please see my store for many other vintage Harley items.

PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing.  We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers.  Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.

We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
