You are purchasing a really nice new reproduction front brake lever assembly replaces OEM Part# 4149-41N for various Harley twins both civilian and military, from 1941 to 1946.  Finish on this is parkerized, this also doubled as the clutch lever on WLC models.  We do happen to sell that kit with the cable and all the fittings if you want to convert your 45" 1941-up Harley into a hand clutch model.  We also sell these in OD green on another listing for military models.

This is much better than buying a bent up, beat up used one with that’s been chromed and has egged out holes.

The detail on this is excellent including the casting number and hallmark shown in the photos.  This is as close as you will find to an OEM NOS one at this price.  Of course H-D used different finishes and had minute detail changes especially from ’41 to ’46 so as far as 100% “correct” for your year/model, I’m not certain.  I can tell you this will fit 1941 and up twin models with cable pull type front brakes, as far as what models it would be correct for, these are what I know of:
  • 1941 to 1946 Military Knucklehead & U model big twins
  • 1941 to 1945 45” solo WLA, WLC
  • 1942 XA
  • 1943 to early 1946 civilian models falling under the WPB: Knucklehead, UL, WL, and Servicar

No need to email or call first to check stock.  We aren’t a drop-ship operation, these are on the shelf and ready to ship.  Buy with confidence, if you are unhappy with your purchase, we offer a no-hassle return policy.

Please study the photos, the parkerizing is excellent on these as well as the attention to detail and craftsmanship.  This is a very nice piece.  Please see my store for many other vintage Harley items.

PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing.  We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers.  Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.

We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
