You are purchasing one new European-made reproduction of the 1926-1930 A, B, C single & 1929 DL rear brake drum or shell and band assembly as originally used on these models. This is a very well-built kit and is on par with the originals in terms of strength and appearance. Do note that the finish is gloss black powder coat and this kit DOES NOT come with the shell nut nor any other mounting hardware.
The brake drum was used through 1934 on 21" singles, but the books show that the band changed in 1931 for single models. Adapting this to a later model may be a straightforward procedure, but we've never attempted it.
