You are purchasing one new USA Made turn signal wiring harness kit for 1968-1969 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead models.  This is our deluxe kit which includes the following:

  • 4 x Lamp black vinyl insulated wires with soldered lamp contacts.  16" for rear, 20" for front. 
  • 2 x Crimp type knife connectors and vinyl shrink tubing for rear lamps as original
  • 2 x Ring terminals & heat shrink tubing for front marker lamps to connect to the posts on the fork terminal plate
  • 1 x Three wire switch harness with #10 terminals crimped in place for internal routing in your right bar
  • 1 xTwo wire harness, front terminal plate to rear connections with asphalt loom and terminals crimped in place
  • 1 each: 11" yellow/black and 11" red/white flasher to terminal plate wires with #10 ring terminals for some flasher 
Wire geometry assumes you are using an internally wired switch through your bars and are running your terminal plate to rear signal lamp cable to your tag frame area using a 1963 and up rear signal bracket and running the harness through your rear fender channel.  Signal lamp wires included have lamp contacts already soldered in place.  If you need a socket spring or insulator for a lamp, email and let us know.  

If you are using an externally-wired switch, order our 1963-1967 switch wire kit.  

They changed to vinyl lamp wires with the new Guide pancake type signals introduced in 1963 and started using knife connectors for the rear junctions.  We also make a kit for 1949-1962 and 1963-1967.  There's more than enough wire to adapt to a Sportster.   

Wires and looms are pre-cut to correct lengths unlike other kits, we do allow a bit of extra wire on the lamp .

 

Each harness is made one at a time by hand in our shop in beautiful Cimarron, New Mexico and comes with detailed installation instructions.  We do also sell clip kits for bar wires and tail lamp wires.  We do have a tail lamp kit on another listing if you are re-doing all your rear fender wiring.

 

We also sell complete harness kits for Knucklehead, K & Sportster, Hummer & other two stroke lightweights, WL, UL, Panhead, and early Shovelhead in our store for 1936-1969 with all budgets in mind.  We can also manufacture a harness to your own exacting specifications.
